At GPMB Global, we aim to collaboratively solve the challenges through our Mai Borong platform, which we custom-built in order to further explore the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering (HoReCa) industry on a national scale.
Our revenue will be generated through the sales as a licensor. Products supplied to another Mai Borong outlet (Licensee) and direct open market.
The HoReCa industry is rapidly growing as shown in the data below. This will open a big opportunity for GPMB to market our business and satisfy the demand of the industry.
The wholesale and retail market opportunities are huge and experiencing significant growth as reported in the following:
According to Economics Professor Dr Yeah Kim Leng of Sunway University, the food and beverage (F&B) industry’s income in GDP is expected to rise another 8% in 2023 after a projected growth of 22% in 2022 to RM35.2 billion. The strong recovery follows two consecutive years of decline. Due to Covid-19 lockdowns and movement restrictions, the industry contracted by a sharp -20.8% in 2020 and -8.9% in 2021.
