Phase 1: Drinks Sales
In Phase 1, our revenue will come through a RM 4.90 per cup sold. We will further optimise to lower the cost of goods sold and improve efficiency. Marketing spending will also increase as we achieve economies of scale.
Phase 2: Drink Sales & Marketing Collaboration
Once we have deployed 500 more vBaristas, we will move onto Phase 2, where our monetising scheme will include marketing collaborations, e.g. cups advertising and digital wraps promotion. We will also reroll out our cashless QR to enable good engagement with our consumers and instant CRM.
Phase 3: Drink Sales, Market Collaborations, Big Data Play and Licensing/Franchising
When we attain 1 million users or 1,000 vBaristas, we will embark on understanding our consumers and assist them by suggesting complementary products and services, to further derive value and engage with our valued consumers. We will then be looking beyond Malaysia and Singapore to offer franchises to expand vBarista.
Asian markets currently make up the majority of the world’s fastest-growing coffee markets. The boom in Asia’s coffee market has been driven by a surge in the innovation of coffee products. We intend to tap into the high-end bean-to-cup coffee segments driven by the millennial.
By end of Year 1, we target to yield an average of 500 cups per machine per month, targeting a total of 85,000 cups per month, or RM330,000 sales per month. We aim to achieve profitability by Q3 of 2018, with a combined revenue of RM74 million in next 3 years.
