Borneo Eco Fish Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2009 and began producing Red Tilapia in 2017. We specialize in supplying healthy and affordable Red Tilapia to our customers.

Our Tilapia farms licenseD to operate at 247 hectares (~600 acres) of lake space in the pristine waters of the Batang Ai Hydroelectric Dam in the Lubok Antu district, totaling 10,000 hectares. With 5,000 cages, we are currently the largest Tilapia producer in Sarawak.

Our factory and processing centre at Batang Ai ensures the highest quality fish supply to our customers.

Introduction

Haji Musa bin Haji Brahim | Chairman

Haji Musa, a 68-year-old Malaysian, is the Chairman, a role he earned due to his extensive 33-year career in aquaculture. His journey began as a Development Officer for the Aquaculture Program, where he was pivotal in advancing the field. He then served as a Research and Development Officer specializing in local fish species, particularly Empurau and Semah. His expertise further extended to roles as a Freshwater Fish Breeding Program Officer and an Enforcement and Licensing Officer. Before his retirement, Haji Musa held the position of Deputy Director (Fishery) at the Department of Agriculture Sarawak, underscoring his significant contributions to the industry.

Hii Tiong Kong, also known as Thomas, is a 55-year-old Malaysian. He serves as the Managing Director of both Borneo Eco Fish Sdn. Bhd. and Ceria Alliance Sdn. Bhd., where he oversees general operations specializing in agricultural development contracts. Additionally, he holds the position of Company Secretary. With 13 years of experience in project management and public relations, Thomas is well-regarded among developers and local authorities, including Pertubuhan Peladang Kawasan (PPK), LCDA, DID, SACOFA, and SALCRA.

Vincent also held the position of Chief Internal Auditor for a financial group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Moreover, he has experience working with several of the Big 5 accountancy firms in the UK, Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia.

Patrick Gordon Song | Director

Patrick, a 58-year-old Malaysian, has an extensive background in offshore finance and management. From 1995 to 2005, he worked with several national companies, including Schlumberger, Axalto, and Lafarge. After this period, he ventured into private business. In 2006, as the Managing Director of Lautan Biru Tourism Sdn. Bhd., he was involved in the development and operations of various projects of national interest. Patrick owns several resorts and tourism facilities in Sabah and Labuan. Additionally, in 2009, he successfully developed a goat farm, commercial freshwater fish ponds, and a fully mechanized rice and maize farm on 180 acres of farmland in Bau, Kuching.
